Specifications
● Cleaning: Clean the interior and exterior of the sauna using non-corrosive cleaners, avoiding strong acid or alkali cleaners that may damage wood and other materials.
● Inspection: Regularly check electrical components and connections to make sure they are working properly. Regularly check heaters, control panels and other electrical components for looseness or damage, and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely manner.
● Ventilation: Keep the sauna well ventilated, open doors and windows after use to allow moisture to escape, and prevent the wood from being exposed to high humidity for long periods of time.
● Wood Treatment: The wood used in indoor saunas has been kiln-dried, but a certain degree of expansion and contraction may occur during use, resulting in slight cracks. This is normal and will not affect the structural integrity of the sauna. When used outdoors, the wood may crack slightly due to changes in humidity levels, again without affecting the structural integrity. Wipe the surface of hemlock wood with a wood-specific conditioning oil every six months to keep the wood moisturized and prevent drying out and warping.
